Embark on the ultimate Peruvian journey aboard the Belmond Andean Explorer, one
of the most exclusive trains in the world. Be part of Cusco, ancient capital of the Incas
and travel the majestic Lake Titicaca. Visit the Sumbay caves, which houses cave
paintings of the first human beings who inhabited the Peruvian highlands, and then
descend to the “White city” of Arequipa via the Colca canyon.
Programme
Day 1 | Cusco | Lunch on board and visit to the archaeological site of Raqchi. Canapés in the bar car and visit to La Raya. Dinner on board - Arrival at the Lake Titicaca station.
Day 2 | Lake Titicaca | Breakfast on board. Visit to the Uros & Taquile islands. Private lunch at Collata Beach. Typical dances and artisanal craft displays. Cocktails and dinner on board.
Day 3 | Lake Titicaca - Arequipa | Breakfast on board. Visit to the Sumbay caves. Light lunch on board. Panoramic city tour. Departure.
