Discover the natural, cultural and archaeological treasures of the Chachapoyas province over four exciting days, located in the northern part of Peru. Nicknamed the ‘Warriors of the Clouds’, the Chachapoyas civilisation set themselves apart from the Inca with their unique architecture and distinct culture and rituals. Visit the imposing hidden fortress of Kuelap with a transfer in a cable car to discover this little-known civilisation along with the gorgeous Gocta Waterfall.
Programme
Day 1 | Arrival to Chachapoyas | A transportation service awaits your arrival at the Chachapoyas Airport and will transfer you to your hotel. On the way, the accompanying guide will inform you about the attractions the town has to offer and assist you along the way.
Day 2 | Gocta waterfall | After an early breakfast, begin your day with a transfer from Chachapoyas to the GoctaWaterfall, the third-highest waterfall in the world reaching a towering 770 metres tall.
Day 3 | Visit the fortress of Kuelap | Transfer to the imposing fortress of Kuelap, the main archaeological site of the region built by the Chachapoyas culture around the year 500 AD
Day 4 | Depart from Chachapoyas | A transportation service will pick you up from your hotel in Chachapoyas at the established time and will transfer you to the airport
